My name is Steve and I have been practicing Qigong for over 25 years. I also hold a 2nd Dan Black belt in Shotokan Karate, have competed in both Kata and Kumite, and have been honoured to be taught by several senior Japanese Sensei including Sensei Eneoda and Sensei Ohta. My name is Steve and I have been practicing Qigong for over 25 years. I also hold a 2nd Dan Black belt in Shotokan Karate, have competed in both Kata and Kumite, and have been honoured to be taught by several senior Japanese Sensei including Sensei Eneoda and Sensei Ohta. I hold a personal fitness qualification and have been teaching martial arts for over 30 years.
I follow the Qigong and Shaolin Kung Fu teachings of Master Shi Heng Yi a 35th Generation of Shaolin Master, and have spent a week living with the monks at the Shaolin Temple Europe, Germany.
More recently I have been learning Yan Shou Gong directly from Master Yap and Lyndon. Yan Shou Gong 延壽功 is an Authentic Nei Gong (internal martial arts) practice traditionally taught to only the most senior monks in the Southern Shaolin Temple.
Through the YSG network I have also been introduced to Han Yang Ru Yi (Qigong Healing), learning directly from Master Dennis Wang.
Qigong can be traced back over 4,000 years and has been used to improve; immunity, balance, joint and muscle strength, mental health, vitality and awareness by Taoists, Buddhists and those studying martial arts.
